CEIP upgrades, delivered accountably
Alberta's Clean Energy Improvement Program helps property owners finance energy efficiency and renewable upgrades. ProQual helps commercial owners in Edmonton plan, document and build that work.
What CEIP is
CEIP is a financing program for energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades, administered by Alberta Municipalities in participating municipalities.
According to the official program, eligible commercial projects may be able to finance up to 100% of eligible costs, with repayment through the property tax bill. Financing is tied to the property rather than the owner, and some upgrades may have terms of up to 20 years.
CEIP is financing to be repaid, not a grant. Eligibility, availability, rates and terms vary by municipality and project, and approval is not guaranteed. Always confirm current details with the program.

Window replacement on 118 Avenue
For a commercial building on 118 Avenue in East Edmonton, ProQual replaced the windows and frames with custom triple-pane units developed with Proguard after nearly a year of research and development.
The new units were designed for improved thermal performance and greater impact resistance compared with the previous windows.
90%
of the published project's cost was financed through CEIP.
This is a historical case, not a guarantee. Financing for any other project depends on the program's current rules and approval.
