I am the President and co-founder of Proqual Construction. Through the last ten years I have had the pleasure of developing many relationships with people in Leduc. I've worked for Rydal Construction and for Troy Clark Construction. Both companies were good to me and during this time I was able to attend Grant MacEwan University for Business Management Studies.

I've worked in the construction industry for over 20 years. I began in home renovations and additions, and then became a full time drywall contractor. I then began my apprenticeship in carpentry and built wood frame homes and commercial buildings while attaining a Red Seal journeyman carpenter certification. I have worked with PCL and Clark Builders. I returned to school to achieve a Bachelor of Technology degree in Construction Management.

I have worked in the construction business most of my life, but have done a large variety of jobs such as; setting up mobile homes, building center, and operating a picker truck in the oil field. I built my own house in Oregon from the ground up. When I moved to Canada I started a drywall business. I have since attained my red seal crane operator ticket from NAIT. I am excited to see Proqual grow, and build amazing relationships in the community.

I was raised around tradespeople and farm folks, where rolling up your sleeves is just how you start the day. I cut my teeth in the automotive world as an Administrative Assistant/Technical Support, worked my way into executive operations, and picked up a deep toolkit in process, compliance, and getting things done. After years in corporate, I came back to my root, with a practical, boots-on-the-ground approach and a love of clean, repeatable systems. ProQual is the perfect fit: I get to build structure that actually helps people in the field, share what I’ve learned, and lead alongside a team that “builds awesome” every day.

Currently, I am an Apprentice Carpenter. Most of my experience is in custom finishing carpentry and cabinet making. Marlo and Dave have taught me tons and continue to teach me about framing, drywalling, mudding, concrete, and other types of general carpentry.
